Meet the Doctors

Originally from Livermore, Dr. Cynthia Young loves her East Bay community and is passionate about serving its members with conservative, biomimetic dentistry. She’s trusted to serve all ages with expertise, education, and empowerment. It’s why many area dentists refer their patients to her for advanced treatment solutions. She’s passionate about helping people, especially those who feel forgotten, have hit hard times, or just need someone who cares.

Dr. Young graduated from UCLA with her Bachelor of Science in Molecular Cell Biology. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Southern California’s Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry, where she graduated with top honors and was inducted into the National Honor Society. After dental school, she served as a Clinical Professor at USC and an Assistant Professor at UCSF School of Dentistry, mentoring the next generation of dentists—including Dr. Ta. She is also a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), Sacramento District Dental Society (SACDS), American Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA), and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD).

Dr. Young founded the 1000 Smiles Project to provide free dental care to the underserved population in the Pleasanton and East Bay communities. Serving the elderly, single parents, those facing financial struggles or medical hardship, she delivers the care every smile needs. Her Tickling Toothbuds program offers free comprehensive dental care to children 12 and under to help them have a lifetime of healthy smiles. Giving back to the community she loves is an essential part of who Dr. Young is.

A loving wife and mother, Dr. Young enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children. Whether it’s baking sourdough or going for a bike ride, she is an all-or-nothing person and does everything at 100%. She loves baking delicious treats, cooking new foods, gardening, and teaching her children where their food comes from, and is Costco’s #1 fan.
